Winnie Namutaawe Ssaka possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School. Her Rotary journey commenced as a Rotaractor at Makerere University Business School, where she presided as Club President from 2011 to 2012.
Her professional path began in 2012 as Personal Assistant to Pioneer District Governor 9211 (Tanzania and Uganda), PDG Emmanuel Katongole. She is presently employed as an Administrative Executive at Quality Chemical Industries Limited, specializing in Anti-retroviral and Anti-malarial medications, with expertise in Administration, Finance, Immigration, and Travel.
Winnie has held various notable positions, including Board Administrator of Mengo Hospital Rotary Blood Bank Program since 2019, Coordinator of Rotary Blood Bank Annual Leadership Transformation Fora and concerts from 2017 to 2020. She was the Administrator of the 2nd All Africa Rotary Zone Institute in Uganda in 2020 and Administrator of the inaugural Rotary Africa Peace Concert since its inception in 2012.
She served as a Personal Assistant to District Governor Rosetti Nabbumba Nayenga of District 9211 comprising of Tanzania & Uganda during the Rotary year 2020-21. She served as an Assistant Treasurer for the Joint 98th DCA for D9213 & D9214 in 2023 and a Board Member of the Rotary Roses Fellowship.
Currently, she serves as a Personal Assistant to District Governor 9214 Christine Kyeyune Kawooya and has been serving as the Secretary of the Rotary Wash Institute program. Winnie has coordinated high-profile visits and attended multiple conferences and conventions. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Muyenga TankHill. She is passionate about networking, youth mentorship, travel, reading, and community service.
